I believe in simplicity. If a video is made to be overcomplicated, the message and intent is lost which
negates the purpose of the video ever being produced. If design is too elaborate, the brand is lost. The user
becomes confused and moves on to a new product, a new company.
Many designers, videographers, "artists" believe in visual masturbation. Just because one can add in a video
cross dissolve doesn't mean one should. Just because a graphic designer can produce a logo that looks like a
legitimate piece of chrome doesn't mean it should happen. In fact, most of those who claim to be great because
they know how to do all this stuff, are really blind to the entire point... What is your message?
